AV Micro can design any kind of system to fit your computing needs. Whether it's a high-end Gamer rig or just a box to surf the web and do e-mail, we can build what is needed, and no more. Were you aware that Alienware will sell you memory that your motherboard can't use?
Most computer users will buy too much or too little. They really don't know what to purchase. Let AV Micro solve that dilemma for you. In general, the guidelines for computers will stay static for a little while. While the Intel Macs are making great strides, the Windows platform is currently stalled. Windows Vista promises to be an overbloated 3-D version of Windows XP. Windows Media Center is XP with extra multimedia codecs and entertainment software. Current users of XP will find that an upgrade to Vista will require upgrading your hardware (Memory, CPU, Video) or purchasing a new system. Windows7 has arrived to replace the Vista operating system. Much quicker than Vista and with lesser system requirements, it will be Microsoft's last major operating system. The push for Microsoft is in the network appliance end, thin clients, online Office applications. My advice is to try one of the many Linux distributions available for FREE. The Mac OS is really a customized version of Debian, which is the kernel of the Ubuntu OS, a popular Linux variant. My advice is to try Mandriva, a pure Linux OS or PC-OS, which is a Debian variant. All Linux versions can usually be downloaded as a Live CD, so you can try the OS before installing it. |
